Herronisos is a tiny, very picturesque coastal village with a small safe port, suitable for mooring of small fishing and tourist boats and small yachts. The settlement counts some 50 permanent residents and is situated within an area of impressive natural beauty, at a distance of some 15 kilometers northwestern to Apollonia.
The village offers few alternatives for accommodation, but you will certainly enjoy gorgeous dishes and fresh fish in the fish taverns at the sea front.
Once in Herronisos, don’t miss to visit the traditional pottery workshop, which shares the space with a fish tavern!
For any problem, the corresponding services of Apollonia, some 15 kilometers at the Southeast, are available for you.
Access to the settlement from Kamares and Apollonia is possible by public buses, by taxi, as well as by rented or private car and motorbikes.
