Agrari is a medium-size, sandy, quiet beach at the south of the island, at a distance of 8 klm south east to Chora.
As is has just one tavern and bar, it is a spot of calmness and relaxation allowing the visitors to enjoy a clear blue sea with sparkling water, in an atmosphere of rest and revelry, far from the noise of the other beaches.
Agrari is not connected with Chora by bus; a fact that have helped to keep its calmness. It is possible to reach it by car, or motorbike; taxis from Chora can drive the visitors to the beach, and there is a good network of caiques from Platys Ghialos. Walking from the nearby beach of Elia, which has bus connection, is also a good choice.
The beach of Elia, at a distance of 10 klm south east to Chora, is the biggest and the better organized and developed beach at the southern part of the island. Luxurius hotels, and bungalows, taverns and high class restaurants and sea sport facilities are available.
It is at this beach that has been established the only Water Park of the island, another spot of fun, especially for children and young people. Nudism is allowed, but at special parts of the beach.
The beach is accessible by public bus from Mykonos Town, as well as by taxi and private car or motorbike. There is also connection with caiques from Platys Gialos.
